Clarence Scott White
(1872 –
1965)
Scott
White was born in Boston in 1872 and then he lived in Belmont,
MA. He studied with Charles Woodbury and was a member of the
Copley Society, the Society of Independent
Artists, the Boston Society of Watercolor Painters and the
Boston Arts Club. He regularly exhibited with those groups as
well as annually in Northeast Harbor, Maine. He preferred
watercolors but he was also an illustrator.
