Albert Van Nesse Greene
(1887 - 1971)
Albert Van Nesse Greene was born in Jamaica, New York in 1887. He studied at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Art Students' League of New York City, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Grande Chaumiere in Paris. He was active in Pennsylvaina from 1909 – 1027 as a painter, etcher and printer. He was a member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the Philadelphia Alliance, the American Art Association of Paris and the Society of Independent Artists in New York City.
